About the Job: Retail Production Controller

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

PRODUCTION CONTROLLER -

- Onsite
- Location: Based in Cape Town

Through a solid understanding of final output requirements and the Clients brand look & feel, ensure that all final files received via the Retail Management System are print ready as per the client brief in RMS.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Ensure all deadlines are met timeously
2. Maintain standards and quality of work produced within RMS
3. Supply technical information & client requirements to Internal Retail team
4. Effectively communicate the production status to all relevant stakeholders
5. Ensure Job complies with the client and ISO standards of pre-flight and proofing for the intended output
6. Ensure all time spent on jobs are recorded within RMS and that final approved artwork is uploaded in the guardbook via RMS

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role
Strong project management skills are required
Knowledge of Retail Marketing, Retail Client Service, Basic Print, Repro and DTP highly beneficial; RMS experience will be beneficial
Intermediate computer skills
