Apparel Retail Brand in Joburg is seeking an experienced RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER to join their team. The Retail Operations Manager position will be responsible for strategically driving results to ensure that each store within the region achieves maximum sales, productivity, and profit goals through effective leadership, communication, world-class service, talent management, merchandising excellence, and operational compliance. The Operations Manager will motivate teams and create a vibrant, energetic store environment. This position will report to the Regional Manager and will be based at head office in Joburg, with travel to stores and nationally required from time to time.

Requirements:

• A combination of or equivalent to the completion of post-secondary education.
• Minimum of 6 years experience as a Retail Area Manager / Senior Store Manager / Operations Manager preferably in the fashion brand environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Must be sales-focused with a proven sales track record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to use your own initiative.
• Knowledge and ability to effectively apply company strategy / policy / procedure at store level.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Ability to manage a functional team.
• GO-GETTER attitude and positive outlook on life.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
• High level of organisation.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Motivational skills.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle - travelling is required.
