Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Retail Merchandiser to join our client’s team in Kimberley. You will optimize product placement and presentation in stores to maximize sales and brand visibility, analyzing sales data and consumer trends to drive merchandising decisions.

You will collaborate with store teams, ensure compliant pricing and displays, monitor stock levels, and contribute to the store’s commercial success in the South African market.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail merchandising, visual display, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of retail sales principles and consumer behavior.
• Ability to interpret sales data and apply insights to merchandising decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with store teams.
• Willingness to travel to various store locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain effective merchandising plans and product placement strategies in retail locations.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product promotion and display optimization.
• Ensure products are accurately priced, signed, and displayed according to brand standards.
• Collaborate with store managers and staff to execute visual merchandising directives and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor inventory levels and report on stock needs and product performance.
• Provide feedback to management on merchandising effectiveness and competitor activities.
