Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years managerial and operational experience, preferably gained within the apparel retail sector;
  • proven ability to lead and motivate a small team;
  • strong financial acumen with a solid background in bookkeeping and proficient in Pastel accounting software;
  • overall responsibility for the financial performance of the Kit and Clothing;
  • in-depth understanding of retail buying and merchandising, with a sound knowledge of fabrics and textiles;
  • proven ability to source, purchase, and brand apparel for school uniforms, tours, supporter clothing and memorabilia;
  • skilled in inventory management, including stock control, quality assurance, and managing ordering lead times;
  • technologically proficient, with strong computer literacy across various applications;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric and approachable demeanour;
  • friendly, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service;
  • flexible with respect to hours of work/weekend work.
