Placements24 seeks a dedicated Pharmacist for a community pharmacy in Mahikeng. The role blends dispensing of retail prescriptions with bespoke compounding, requiring care, accuracy, and a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
• Registered with the SAPC in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist, with retail dispensing and compounding.
• Strong knowledge of compounding techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and sterile/non-sterile compounding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide patient counseling.
• Perform MTM services and provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Prepare customized pharmaceutical compounds according to physician prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy standards.
• Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering, receiving, and storage.
• Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements, new drug therapies, and legislation.
