Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail-Focused Buying: Source and select products that appeal to retail consumers, ensuring high demand and strong sales performance.
2. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure the best pricing, quality, and availability.
3. Trend & Market Research: Stay ahead of consumer trends and competitor offerings to ensure a competitive product range.
4. International Sourcing & Travel: Attend global trade shows and supplier meetings to source innovative, high-quality retail products.
5. Sales & Inventory Analysis: Use data-driven insights to make purchasing decisions and maintain optimal stock levels.
6. Negotiation & Cost Control: Secure the best deals with suppliers to maximize profit margins.
7. Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with retail, marketing, and supply chain teams to drive sales and product success.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Retail Buying Experience is Essential: Minimum 10+ years in procurement/buying within homeware, décor, DIY, or hardware retail.
2. Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of retail consumer behavior and product trends.
3. Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to negotiate pricing and use Excel/forecasting tools for data-driven decisions.
4. International Sourcing Expertise: Comfortable with global supplier negotiations and travel.
5. Strong Communication & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
