The retail assistant is to maintain retail operations of the assigned outlet as trained and directed.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Perform and drive shop sales in the MORE Galleries, operating the POS efficiently and adhering to the procedures relating to pricing and stock control.
- Serve customers in the assigned outlet, making recommendations, helping, advising, directing and dealing with enquiries.
- Assist in conducting mid-month and end of month stock takes and report any stock irregularities to the Retail Manager immediately.
- Meet with the Retail Manager as required and update on retail operations.
- To attend departmental meetings as required.
- To uphold and maintain the developed set of MORE and property standards.
REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Sound knowledge of the applicable / relevant property and company procedures for the department, with specific focus on the MORE Galleries.
- Previous hospitality or retail experience advantageous.
- Experience with the highest level of customer service in a luxury environment.
- Knowledge of all MORE properties and all activities offered.
