Our Client based near Elandsfontein and Germiston require an experienced Accountant to manage from their SA Head Office their retail branch in Australia.
Your finance degree is essential with a minimum of 5 years experience. Must have experience with forex and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Due to our client being involved in retail, your experience dealing with large quantities of stock is highly advantageous.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification would be a higher certificate/diploma in finance or bookkeeping.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
Advanced Excel essential – VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Sage X3 experience would be advantageous.
Knowledge of GRN and Purchase Invoice procedures on Sage X3 advantageous.
Knowledge of Rebates Calculations – advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily and weekly Sales Report
Weekly and Monthly Bank Recon
Sending Bank Deposits to Credit Controller Daily
Cashbook
Manual matching in Sage X3
Capturing Creditors Invoices into Sage X3
Preparing Creditors Recons
Preparing payments on ANZ Bank
Personal Expenses Journals – Weekly
Capturing Petty Cash – Monthly
Assisting with preparation and posting of Quarterly Stock Takes
Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Journal
Stock Adjustments in Sage X3
Manage expense variances
Assisting Finance Controller with various schedules for Financial Year End and Annual Budgets
GL recons
Knowledge of GRN and Purchase Invoice procedures on Sage X3 which will be a backup for procurement
