Restaurant Manager Assistant
Job description
This position requires a person with the below experience.
Person would need to be passionate about working in the Bushveld.
Position includes on-site accommodation for a single person.
General Scope of the Position:
- Provide high level of customer service and efficient performance of restaurant activities.
- Ensure efficiency and smooth running of the restaurant.
- Ensure optimal levels of stock planning.
- Daily management of restaurant staff.
- Manage restaurant income and expenses.
- Month-end procedures, GPs, budgets, and stock take.
- Plan restaurant stock level, pricing & ordering of stock.
- Liaise with clients, departments, and suppliers.
- Ensure staff performance is up to standard.
- Planning of staff rosters and leave schedules.
- Displaying of products and restaurant layout.
- Conduct training needs analysis for staff.
- Receiving of GRVs and processing it.
- Sales and stock reports, stock control.
- Daily cash ups of the restaurant.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Grade 12.
- Relevant Certificate / Diploma within Hospitality Management.
- Formal training and experience within a restaurant as a manager.
- Restaurant-related experience.
- Person ideally single and should be passionate about living in a Bushveld.
Basic Salary: R 10 000.00
