Description: Our client, a well-established wine estate based in the Durbanville area, is currently seeking to employ a Restaurant Manager.

The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote wine sales to all diners and tasting clients and company brand in conjunction with the marketing team.
2. Consult with potential clients for weddings, events, functions, and corporate events.
3. Stocktaking.
4. Daily cash up.
5. Personnel management.
6. Organise and coordinate front of house and back of house operations efficiently.
7. Handle customer complaints efficiently.
8. Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements for menus (limited offering) and wine tastings.
9. Recordkeeping.
10. All other functions related to the position.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. Matric.
2. Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar position.
3. Strong management skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of local wine.
5. Basic understanding of Human Resource legislation and procedures (Hospitality industry).
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Own reliable transport and a valid driver's license.
