Overview :
A well-established casual dining restaurant in Mitchells Plain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of service and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
Lead and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff
Conduct ongoing staff training and development
Monitor and manage stock levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Handle customer service, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks
Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
Requirements :
Matric / Grade 12 (Hospitality Diploma preferred)
Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role (essential)
Fully bilingual (English and at least one other South African language)
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
Own reliable vehicle (essential)
Clear criminal record
Monday to Friday : 07 : 00 – 19 : 00 (with one day off every second week)
