Introduction

SILVERAKE TRADING PTY LTD is a successful growing International Fast Food Restaurant Franchisee based in KZN. We are currently looking for a Restaurant General Manager who will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food, service, and health and safety are maintained. The General Manager is responsible for leading the team, driving profitability, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.

Staff Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage IR

Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement strategies to improve service quality and guest retention.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor sales and profitability targets.
  • Control costs and optimize operational efficiency.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate on marketing strategies and promotional events.
  • Maintain social media presence and online reputation.
  • Engage with the local community to build brand awareness.
  • Drive transaction growth and store marketing in terms of LSM (Local Store Marketing)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financials.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Food Safety Certification (preferred).
