Job Summary: As a Resourcing Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Resourcing Consultants, driving the successful sourcing and placement of healthcare professionals in line with business objectives. In this role, you will focus on mentoring and developing your team to ensure high performance, while also overseeing day-to-day resourcing activities. The Resourcing Team Leader will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with client needs and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business. This position requires excellent leadership, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare recruitment market.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Resourcing Consultants, including Senior Resourcing Consultants, to achieve their individual and team targets.
- Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members, helping them refine their skills and reach their potential.
- Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and ensure these are met or exceeded.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment, encouraging a culture of excellence and accountability.
High-Level Resourcing & Candidate Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to candidate placement, ensuring high-quality service and delivery to clients.
- Ensure the team maintains a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals through effective sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Provide hands-on support with high-priority or challenging roles, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques and market insights to secure top candidates.
- Act as an escalation point for complex candidate or client issues, ensuring swift resolution and client satisfaction.
Strategic Recruitment Planning & Market Insight:
- Develop and implement resourcing strategies in line with business goals, ensuring alignment with the needs of healthcare facilities and market demands.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, using this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including business development and operations, to ensure resourcing efforts align with client needs and service delivery.
Performance Management & Reporting:
- Monitor team performance against set targets, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.
- Analyse team performance data, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for training and development.
- Prepare and present reports on resourcing activities, team performance, and market insights to senior management.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to review progress, provide guidance, and address any performance challenges.
Client Collaboration & Relationship Management:
- Work closely with healthcare facilities and other key stakeholders to understand their staffing needs, ensuring that resourcing efforts are aligned with client expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and ensuring their satisfaction with candidate placements.
- Ensure that all team members maintain open lines of communication with clients and candidates to facilitate smooth placements and build long-lasting relationships.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and the quality of candidate placements.
- Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and company standards, including data protection and industry-specific requirements.
- Manage the accuracy of candidate records, data entry, and documentation in the company’s CRM system, ensuring compliance and effective reporting.
Training & Development:
- Identify the training needs of team members and provide appropriate coaching, training sessions, or resources to enhance their performance.
- Organize workshops or continuous professional development programs to keep the team updated on industry trends, recruitment techniques, and compliance regulations.
- Encourage a culture of learning and growth within the team to support long-term professional development.
Requirements:

- Proven experience in leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to manage performance, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team to achieve high performance.
Recruitment Expertise:
- Extensive experience in healthcare recruitment, specifically in sourcing and placing healthcare professionals, such as nurses and allied health workers.
- Deep understanding of healthcare staffing needs, market trends, and candidate engagement techniques.
