Job description

Salary: Band 3 (£28,011 - £30,230) plus unsocial hours enhancement

Department: West Region Resource Planning Department

West Region are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to work within the Resource Planning Team, based at Motherwell.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning and maintenance of staff rosters, providing a high level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources.

You will be able to evidence excellent communication and organisational skills, a logical and methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Excel, is required to operate department systems and databases. A flexible approach to work is essential as post holders will provide a resource planning function across a wide and varied geographical area and undertake unsocial hours, including weekends.

You will be required, on occasions, to deal with sensitive information and therefore post holders must have an awareness of the Data Protection Act and a high degree of professional integrity.
