Placements24 is recruiting apprentice electricians for residential installations and maintenance in the Sandton area, Gauteng. You will work hands-on with certified electricians on diverse projects, including new homes, renovations, and upgrades, while receiving top-tier training and mentorship.

This apprenticeship provides practical experience, safety training, and a structured path to becoming a qualified electrician, with opportunities for permanent employment upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in electrical work and a desire to pursue a career as an electrician.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to commit to the full apprenticeship period and undergo all training and assessments.

Responsabilités

• Assist electricians in installing electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in residential properties.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems under supervision.
• Install and connect electrical panels, circuit breakers, and other protective devices.
• Ensure installations comply with current electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct pre-installation checks and post-installation testing of electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site with proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Communicate project status and requirements to clients and team members.
• Participate in all training sessions and workshops provided.
