We are looking for a skilled and experienced Residential Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee our residential construction projects.

Job Summary: The Residential Construction Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities at residential job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Team Management: Lead, direct, and motivate a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure construction work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure all work is completed within budget. Report any deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, enter daily logs in our business system.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Client Relations: Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction supervision or a related role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints and construction documents.
    • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
