Job Purpose

The Reservations Supervisor ensures departmental targets are met by accurately interpreting guest needs, maximizing room sales at optimal rates, cross-selling hotel services, and maintaining detailed guest records for accurate quotations and bookings. They oversee the complete recording of all booking details and correspondence, aiming to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Utilize software and communication tools effectively to facilitate guest bookings and departures.
  2. Manage processes to ensure high standards of guest accommodation.
  3. Use property management software to monitor guest preferences and generate reports.
  4. Provide weekly forecasts and analyze variances against budgets.
  5. Ensure timely responses to inquiries, accurate quotations, and follow-up on reservations and deposits.
  6. Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and no-shows according to hotel policies.
  7. Update reservations promptly and accurately in OPERA Cloud.
  8. Coordinate with other departments for special requests and facilities.
  9. Report discrepancies and overbookings, assisting in resolution.
Customer Specific Responsibilities

Deliver world-class service, ensuring policies reflect guest safety and preferences, and respond professionally to inquiries.

People Specific Responsibilities

Conduct performance reviews, provide training on selling skills, and foster a positive work environment.

Quality Specific Responsibilities

Adhere to policies and standards, identify quality improvement opportunities, and maintain guest preference systems.

Finance Specific Responsibilities

Achieve occupancy and revenue targets, manage pre-payments, and process payments accurately.

Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management.
  • Significant experience in luxury hotel reservations.
  • Proficiency in OPERA Cloud and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
