Intimate self-catering Guest Farm close to Stellenbosch is looking for a Reservations Planner / Duty Manager for a fixed term maternity relief contract (September 2024 – January 2026).
Work hours will be 08 : 00 – 17 : 00 with work every second weekend.
There is the potential for this to become a possible permanent position.
Duties :
Answering of calls at reception
Checking guests in
Room checks
Assisting housekeeping with rosters, guiding them, helping to manage the team
Receiving and processing payments
Stock Takes
Duty manager shifts
Liaising with reservations (Based in Johannesburg) should there be any reservation requirements
Site inspections
Requirements : Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience at a luxury Guest House / Boutique Hotel environment
Strong administrative, communication and guest relations skills
Fully computer literate
Driver’s license and own reliable transport will be an advantage
