The Reservations Manager will be responsible for leading a strong and efficient team. Manage, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve service excellence and meet targets. Develop and manage all reporting, oversee the booking process, and guide the reservations team to maximize occupancy. Ensure smooth communication to enhance the guest's overall experience from start to finish. Attend local travel shows, building rapport with existing and new agents. Financial acumen is a must for this role.
The Reservations Manager will be based in the Head Office in Pretoria.
Candidate Requirements:
Must have a Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
Tourism, Hospitality, or Financial Accounting qualification needed
5-8 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Have a financial background or be proficient with managing financial reports
Must be proficient in using Excel
Experience with PANstrat or similar software will be an advantage
Strong business administration experience
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Be proactive, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Energetic, driven, and results-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality service
Must have innovative and creative problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of tourism industry operations, including rates, activities, and lodge operational procedures
Team management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team
Strong customer relations skills to provide outstanding service
Willingness to travel as required by the role
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
