A growing company in the cruise industry is seeking an experienced customer service representative to assist with reservations and customer inquiries. Key responsibilities include processing reservations, addressing customer concerns, and supporting various departments. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and experience in a customer service role. A college degree and knowledge of the cruise ship industry are preferred. Flexibility in work hours is necessary.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about our cruise ship services
- Process reservations and ensure all necessary details are obtained and accurately recorded
- Handle changes and cancellations to existing reservations, following company policies and procedures
- Maintain a high level of customer service by promptly and professionally addressing any customer concerns or issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date on current promotions, packages, and pricing to effectively sell our services to customers
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and report generation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or reservations role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with reservation systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of cruise ship industry and destinations is a plus
