Job description

• Render research support to research in the Crop Protection Division to ensure successful completion of projects on macadamia felted coccid and polyphagous shot hole borer.
• Organise, conduct and monitor research experiments using technical and theoretical understanding.
• Analyse and solve challenges encountered during experimental procedures utilising scientific knowledge.
• Able to summarise experimental results and communicate experimental results with supervisor / project leader.
• Record, analyse and interpret experimental data timeously according to reputable formats.
• Proactively communicate with supervisor / project leader regarding key findings and critical problem areas.
• Disseminate project results through peer-reviewed or popular publications and presentations at conferences.
• Ensure dateline are met through effective distribution of tasks.
