The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology or a related field, with at least 3 years of industrial microbiology and fermentation

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of research experience in industrial microbiology and fermentation science.
• Proven expertise in microbial strain selection, genetic manipulation, and media optimization.
• Hands-on experience with bench-scale and pilot-scale fermentation systems.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA sequencing, and cloning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities for collaboration in Paarl.
