• A Doctoral degree in a Science or Engineering domain or equivalent.
• At least 8 years’ post-PhD experience in manufacturing, preferably in casting and metallurgy.
• Sound experience in managing a team of multidisciplinary science and engineering professionals.
• Proven track record in project management and research leadership.
• Experience in business development of technical projects.
• Solid product development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in:
• Working in the casting and foundries industry.
• Metal primary castings, including publications and technological outputs.
• Business development and commercialization activities.
• Development of innovative technologies and product solutions for diverse clients.
• Financial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, presentation, research, and report writing).
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Established national and international RDI networks.
• Understanding of the research-to-market innovation value chain.
