Placements24 is seeking a Research Fellow to join a dynamic molecular biology group in Port Elizabeth. This postdoctoral position offers the chance to conduct original research in a collaborative academic environment, exploring fundamental biological processes or potential therapeutic targets.

The fellow will design, perform, and analyze experiments (gene cloning, PCR/qPCR, Western blotting, cell culture), contribute to manuscripts, and present findings at meetings and conferences.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and inquisitive Research Fellow to contribute to their dynamic molecular biology research group in Port Elizabeth . Key Responsibilities

• Design, perform, and meticulously document experiments in molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning, PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, and cell culture.

Requirements
