Your role

Are you an expert in assessing value and risk? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate?

We’re looking for an Analyst to:

1. conduct valuation analysis focusing on key stocks in the SA Consumer Sectors
2. convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
3. build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
4. provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
5. remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

Your team

You’ll be working in the Research team in Johannesburg. We provide insights into companies in our coverage universe that benefits our customers. As a research analyst, you’ll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations across a wide remit of markets and industries.

Your expertise

Ideally CFA level 3 and a post graduate finance related qualification:

• Equity research analyst with ideally >3 years of experience
• Fluent in English to support local client base
• Have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
• Confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
• Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
• Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
