Job description

We are seeking a Repairs Technician for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 with 3+ years hands on maintenance and repair experience on a wide range of power tools, welding machines, compressors, small machinery such as petrol & diesel generators, and small pumps
• A certification in relevant field is preferable
• Must have proven track record and able to work independently
• Good English literacy – both written & spoken
• Good overall knowledge of mechanical systems

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections, servicing and repairs for the product range
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Housekeeping and clean up of all maintenance areas
• Requisitioning of spares and consumables as required
• Safekeeping of base stock

Salary: Negotiable
