Job Summary
As a Renewal Sales Specialist (German Speaker), you will be responsible for coverage in the region and driving renewals of the largest segment of DigiCert's customer base, delivering incremental revenue growth and bringing in net new business. This is a remote position.
What You Will Do
- Build & foster strong relationships by working closely with your in-region Account Manager to develop deep relationships with strategic DigiCert customers, focusing on increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and long-term success in solving technology challenges.
- Enhance mutual understanding through active listening, expressing genuine interest, and providing full attention to others’ messages, thus expanding DigiCert’s reach.
- Engage in information seeking by going beyond routine questions, digging for exact information, resolving discrepancies, and scanning for future opportunities.
- Use influence and persuasion effectively to support specific agendas, impressions, or actions.
- Maintain composure and resiliency, dealing effectively with pressure, setbacks, and hostility, recovering quickly from setbacks and conflicts.
- Gather and assess information related to the organization’s communication channels and power relationships to demonstrate organizational savvy.
Territory: DACH
What You Will Have
- Professional working proficiency in German (essential)
- 2+ years of experience managing full sales cycle (inside or field sales) in the software space (SaaS sales preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SaaS sales experience in the DACH region and/or DACH public sector is advantageous
- Proactive in adopting sales best practices and a leader in process adherence
- Market and industry knowledge with awareness of changing trends
- Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills
- Commitment to self-education applicable in a professional context
- Ability to link corporate strategic goals to customer solutions
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple team members
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding goals
