Job description

An Electrical Engineering company in Midrand is looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead local and international solar, substation, line, and grid projects. The role involves planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources to ensure timely, on-scope delivery.
Ideal candidates will have a background in renewable energy (solar) project management, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Minimum requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or minimum National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or similar
• Project Management certification advantageous
• Registration with a relevant professional body (ECSA, SAIEE, SACPCMP, etc.)
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Project Management tools (MS Projects, CAD software for solar system design)
• Fluent spoken English (French will be advantageous)
