Ideal candidates have a National Diploma or N6 in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including low and medium voltage work. Safety and quality workmanship are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or N6 in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with low and medium voltage systems.
• Familiarity with solar PV systems is advantageous.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including solar panels, inverters, and grid-connection components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on low and medium voltage systems under supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Conduct site surveys and assist in data collection for electrical engineering projects.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company procedures during fieldwork.
