Job summary
HostAfrica is seeking a Website Product Designer to shape our digital ecosystem. You will bridge UX/UI design with product strategy, crafting intuitive, performant websites for hosting clients from SMBs to enterprises.
You will wireframe, prototyp e, and iterate with cross-functional teams, maintain design systems, and push for innovative hosting-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, HCI, or related field.
- 3+ years in product/UX/UI design for web apps (SaaS/hosting preferred).
- Portfolio showcasing web-focused projects (dashboards/e-commerce).
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Familiar with responsive design and performance optimization for web hosting.
Responsibilities
- Wireframing & prototyping of web websites using Figma; responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- UI/UX design: visually appealing, accessible interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine designs based on constraints and testing.
- Asset creation and maintenance: icons, banners, email templates; maintain a design system.
- Optimize designs for hosting context and stay ahead of web design trends.
