Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join a hybrid team in Randburg. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies with data from WMS systems.

The successful candidate will work both remotely on data entry and on-site for physical checks, ensuring stock integrity and timely reporting. Prior inventory/ERP experience and strong math skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, stocktaking, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in both remote and on-site settings.
• Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) promptly and accurately.
• Assist in investigating and resolving stocktaking variances.
• Generate inventory reports for management review.
• Maintain organized inventory storage areas and assist with stock rotation.
