Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as Automotive Technician or Diagnostics Specialist.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electronic systems, engine management and CAN/OBD-II protocols.
• Proficient with multiple diagnostic scan tools and software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with clear communication.
• Experience with remote support tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting; ASE/other certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic guidance to automotive technicians and service centers.
• Analyze diagnostic data, fault codes and specs to identify root causes.
• Document detailed diagnostic procedures for common and complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product performance and improvements.
• Maintain knowledge base on vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.
• Use remote tools to assist in real-time troubleshooting and respond promptly.
• Contribute to training materials and knowledge sharing for the team.
• Escalate unresolved issues with thorough analysis and documentation.
