Placements24 is seeking a Head of Treasury to lead treasury operations remotely, overseeing liquidity, cash flow, financial risk, and banking relationships for a growing enterprise with ties to Mahikeng. This executive role will drive financial stability and operational efficiency across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in corporate treasury with at least 5 years in senior leadership, plus expertise in cash management, hedging, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA designation highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in cash management, financial risk management, debt management, and capital markets.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and banking operations.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a fully remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive treasury strategies to optimize cash management, liquidity, and financial risk.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, ensuring adequate funding for operational needs.
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risk through hedging strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
• Lead and mentor the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability in a remote setting.
