Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Transport Planner to manage and optimize our transportation network from a remote location. You will coordinate drivers, leverage TMS tools, and plan routes to deliver cost-effective operations with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in transport planning or logistics, strong analytical skills, and experience with route optimization software. Remote work with flexible hours is offered, along with access to cutting-edge logistics tech.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience in transport planning or logistics.
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and route optimization software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and remote-collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement optimal transportation plans and route strategies.
Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and logistics personnel for plan execution.
Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor fleet performance and address deviations from the plan.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Forecast transportation needs and capacity with stakeholders.
