Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to lead analyses of complex, end-to-end supply chains for international clients from a home office. You will design data-driven optimization strategies, forecast demand, and implement improvements across network design, inventory, and transportation.

You will collaborate with management teams, develop ROI-focused business cases, and deliver dashboards and workshops.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in SCM, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, consulting, or related analytical role.
• Expertise in supply chain modeling, network design, inventory optimization, and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in advanced analytical software and tools including Llamasoft, AnyLogic, R, Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' end-to-end supply chains including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.
• Identify key improvement areas in efficiency, costs, risk, and service levels.
• Develop and implement data-driven optimization strategies (network design, inventory, transport).

Requirements
