Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will analyze data across logistics, inventory, transportation, and warehousing to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities for a diverse client base from anywhere in Cape Town or beyond.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience, with strong Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating and optimizing various aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations for their diverse client base. You will leverage data to identify trends, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance performance and reduce costs across the supply chain. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing significantly to the strategic direction of logistics operations, working from anywhere in Cape Town or beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement in areas such as inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and operations, to implement data-driven solutions.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives and projects.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and logistics technology.
• Support the development and implementation of new supply chain strategies and policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
