Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Online Curriculum Developer to design and develop engaging STEM learning content for online delivery. This remote-first role collaborates with SMEs, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create modules, assessments, and course materials for a global audience.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a STEM field with at least five years in curriculum development for digital learning, and is proficient with LMS platforms and tools like Articulate

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM or related field with strong STEM focus.
• 5+ years of curriculum development experience, online/digital learning preferred.
• Proven experience designing and developing STEM content.
• Solid knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE/SAM) and adult learning theories.
• Experience with LMS and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong research, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online STEM curriculum for multiple subjects and levels.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate content into engaging online learning materials.
• Create interactive modules, video scripts, simulations, and assessments.
• Ensure alignment with objectives, standards, and best practices.
• Manage the development process from concept to delivery and timelines.
• Review and revise content to maintain accuracy and engagement.
• Work with multimedia teams on visuals and audio for online courses.
• Support curriculum quality assurance and stay updated on trends.
