Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Curriculum Developer to lead the creation of innovative STEM online learning materials. This role demands a strategic educator with a proven track record in instructional design and a passion for digital learning.

You will design, develop, and implement STEM curricula for online delivery, create engaging content, collaborate with SMEs, manage projects to deadlines, ensure WCAG accessibility, and mentor junior staff in a fully remote team.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in STEM or related educational field.
• 7+ years of curriculum development / instructional design experience in STEM.
• Experience designing and online courses using LMS (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard).
• Proficient with e‑learning tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and ADDIE/SAM.
• Portfolio of curriculum development work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement STEM curricula for online delivery.
• Create engaging content: video scripts, modules, assessments.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure accuracy and pedagogy.
• Use LMS and authoring tools to structure courses.
• Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps.
• Evaluate curricula via data and learner feedback and revise.
• Stay updated on online education trends and pedagogy.
• Manage curriculum development projects to deadlines.
• Provide mentorship to junior curriculum developers.
• Ensure content meets WCAG accessibility standards.
