Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Sports Performance Analyst for a fully remote role across South Africa. You will collect, clean, and interpret performance data to support coaches and athletes and develop data-driven training insights.

You will use R/Python, SPSS, and visualization tools to communicate findings, identify trends, and build predictive models for performance and injury risk, while working independently in a remote setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Science, Biokinetics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sports Performance Analyst, preferably in a professional or elite amateur setting.
• Proficiency in data analysis software such as R, Python, SPSS, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of sports biomechanics, physiology, and training principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• A passion for sports and a commitment to data-driven performance enhancement.
• Familiarity with various sports and their specific performance metrics.
