Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site feasibility studies and provide recommendations for optimal system design and placement.
• Research and analyze market trends, regulatory policies, and competitive landscapes affecting the solar energy sector.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and data visualizations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering, development, and finance teams to support project lifecycle.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and technologies within the solar energy space.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar photovoltaic technology and energy storage solutions.
• Contribute to the refinement of analytical tools and methodologies used by the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar energy analysis, project finance, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, specialised PPA software) and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with solar resource assessment tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, SAM) and GIS software.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of solar PV technologies, system components, and energy markets.
• Experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs) and renewable energy certificates (RECs) is a plus.
