This fully remote position involves conducting in-depth analysis of solar energy projects, market trends, and policy impacts to inform strategic decisions. You will leverage data to provide insights that drive the company's growth in solar power generation. This role is perfect for an expert analyst who is self-motivated, proficient with data analysis tools, and passionate about advancing solar energy solutions from the comfort of their home office, regardless of their physical location.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze solar resource data, energy production estimates, and project economics for new and existing solar installations.
• Develop financial models to evaluate the viability and profitability of solar power projects .
• Research and interpret evolving energy policies , regulations, and market dynamics impacting the solar industry.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Collaborate virtually with project development, engineering, and finance teams to support strategic planning.
• Monitor and report on the performance of distributed solar assets and identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy analysis or a similar role within the energy sector.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Experience with solar modeling software (e.g., PVsyst, SAM) is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, project finance, and energy markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
