Placements24 is recruiting a Senior UI/UX Designer for a fully remote game studio. You will lead the UI/UX lifecycle from user research to prototyping and implementation, crafting intuitive interfaces and immersive player experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers across a distributed team, ensuring UI consistency, accessibility, and performance across platforms. A strong portfolio and experience in games are essential.

Qualifications

Proven extensive experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio for games.
Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Deep understanding of user-centered design, IA and interaction design.
Experience designing for multiple game genres and platforms.
Strong visual design skills and knowledge of typography, color theory and iconography.
Familiarity with game development pipelines and UI implementation constraints.
Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop game UI including HUDs, menus, and in-game systems.
Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate designs.
Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to ensure alignment with mechanics.
Establish and maintain UI style guides and asset libraries.
Optimize UI/UX for performance across platforms and resolutions.
Mentor junior UI/UX designers.
