Placements24 is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant in South Africa to join the finance team in a fully remote capacity. You will oversee tax planning, compliance, and advisory on the tax implications of business decisions, leveraging deep SA tax law knowledge and international principles.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in tax accounting and strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently from anywhere in SA.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Taxation is required.
• Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CTA) essential.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance.
• Extensive knowledge of SA tax law and international tax principles.
• Experience with tax software and advanced Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and file federal, provincial, and local tax returns accurately and on time.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities legally.
• Advise management on tax implications of transactions and investments.
• Manage responses to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Ensure tax accounting policies and procedures are compliant.
