About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computational models of biological systems (e.g., metabolic networks, signaling pathways, gene regulatory networks).
• Integrate multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) to gain systems-level insights.
• Perform network analysis, pathway analysis, and simulation studies.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to validate model predictions and design experiments.
• Contribute to the identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
• Develop and maintain reproducible workflows and documentation.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in systems biology, computational modeling, and relevant biological fields.
• Communicate research findings effectively through presentations and publications.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to team projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of research experience in systems biology or a closely related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant modeling and simulation software (e.g., COPASI, CellDesigner, SBML).
• Expertise in network analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning applied to biological data.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating and analyzing large-scale biological datasets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
