Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable microservices-based platform in a distributed SaaS environment. You will build robust, resilient services, craft high-quality code, and collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical solutions.

You will leverage Go/Java/Python/Node.js, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) to deliver reliable APIs and data stores at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in microservices.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (Go, Java, Python, Node.js).
• Experience designing, building, and operating microservices in production.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in remote, distributed teams.
