Placements24 seeks a remote Senior Software Engineering Manager to guide one of its core product teams. You will lead a high-performance, distributed group of engineers, shaping architecture, delivery, and technical strategy from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities include driving SDLC, enforcing quality, and collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable software solutions. Excellent leadership and remote-working skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 8–10 years in software development, with 4–5 years in a management or team lead role.
• Proven experience in leading and scaling software engineering teams, preferably in a remote or distributed setting.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions and guide engineering strategy.
• Experience with performance tuning and scaling of large-scale distributed systems.
