Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Architect for a fully remote role with an award-winning architectural firm focused on sustainable design. You will lead projects from concept to completion, steering design development, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring compliance with codes and accessibility standards.

You bring a Master's in Architecture, SACAP registration, 10+ years of experience, and strong leadership.

Formación

• Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional Architect registration with SACAP or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
• Expertise in sustainable design strategies (e.g., LEED, Green Star SA) and passive design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects remotely and independently.
• Keen eye for design detail and aesthetic quality.
• Experience navigating regulatory approval processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architectural design development for various project types, with a focus on sustainable principles.
• Develop conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed architectural drawings.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Prepare design presentations, renderings, and documentation for client reviews and approvals.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in sustainable design, materials, and construction technologies.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative design process within a remote team environment.
