About the Role Our client, a leading technology firm renowned for its innovative solutions, is seeking a highly accomplished Remote Senior Program Manager to join their dynamic team. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for leading and managing complex, cross-functional technology programs from inception through completion. This role demands exceptional strategic thinking, robust project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, regardless of physical location. Key Responsibilities

• Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

• Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program and project management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role focused on technology programs.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex technology initiatives from initiation to closure in a remote setting.
• Extensive experience with agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
