You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform PHAs, simulations, mass and energy balances, and mentor junior engineers, with flexibility in hours and location and opportunities to attend international conferences.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in process engineering in specialty chemicals.
• Strong track record in designing and scaling up complex chemical synthesis and purification processes.
• Proficient in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, Unisim) and advanced data analysis.
• Experience with process safety management (PSM) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and development for new specialty chemical products from concept to pilot scale.
• Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
• Conduct PHAs and risk assessments; develop safety protocols for new and existing processes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff involved in process development and scale-up activities.

Requirements
