Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist to monitor safety across a global product portfolio. You will assess adverse events, contribute to safety reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes proactive data analysis, signal detection, and risk management within a fully remote work environment, with opportunities to influence global pharmacovigilance strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience.
• Experience with global pharmacovigilance regulations (FDA/EMA/ICH).
• Experience with safety databases and AE reporting systems.
• Strong scientific background with ability to evaluate data.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessment of adverse event reports, including causality and seriousness.
• Prepare and submit regulatory safety reports (PBRERs, DSURs).
• Engage in signal detection and risk assessment activities.
• Collaborate with regulatory, clinical development, and medical affairs on safety matters.
• Develop and maintain safety databases and documentation.
• Contribute to clinical trial safety considerations in protocol design.
